Bank’s new rule regarding ATM card User and check book

A new rule has been implemented for the account holders of Yes Bank. The private bank has changed the list of charges related to its smart salary account. This new rule will be implemented from October 1. This change will directly affect the account holders holding salary accounts. The bank has implemented new rules on many new things including ATM withdrawal, check return.

This new rule by Yes Bank will be applicable to all those account holders who have many variants of Smart Salary Account like Smart Salary Exclusive Account, Smart Salary Advantage Account, Smart Salary Platinum Pro Account. This new rule will be applicable to all these account holders.

Smart Salary Account New Rules

Charges for cheque

Check return due to technical reasons: Rs 50 per time
Outward cheque return: Rs 350 per time
Rs 500 for the first time
Rs 750 from the second time
Insufficient funds (in case of no money): Rs 600 from the second time
Stop payment on cheque (from branch): Rs 100 per instruction
Physical account statement (from branch): Rs 100 per request

Process of cash transaction from branch

Account holders can withdraw up to Rs 1 lakh twice from the branch every month. Now 1 lakh can be withdrawn in one go or 50 thousand in two times and a charge of Rs 4.5 per 1000 will be levied.

Non Maintenance Account Charges

Non maintenance charges are not applicable on salary accounts but if the account holder maintains an average balance of ₹10,000 in the last 3 months then it will not be applicable but if the average balance is not maintained and the salary is not credited to the account then the maximum charge will be Rs 750.
